Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton in New Brunswick, Canada. She is the daughter of Peter Silk - an academic and Ilkay Silk - a talented actor, writer, director and producer. Her father is from Britain as does her mother, who is an "Turkish ex-pat from Cyprus who is now living in England." Anna's early memories of attending rehearsals for play and watching her mother's her job. As a child, she was featured in a variety of commercials. Then, in November 1999 Anna relocated to Toronto in order to further develop her acting career. She ended up making the move to Los Angeles, California, in the following decade. Seth Cooperman met Anna at an Los Angeles actor's workshops in 2007. They were engaged. Anna was converted to Judaism in January 2011 and then they re-wed during a Jewish wedding ceremony in Fredericton. Bo's sex-based romance with Lauren was highlighted in CNN's most popular television Couples in the history of television and was named top Television Couple in 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Anna grew a large number of followers on social networks as a direct result of the success of its show.
