Jillian Nellie Hennely was born on the 25th of November, 1968. She is a renowned Canadian actress and performer who has made an important contribution to American television. She's best known for her stunning performance on the American television programs like Law & Order (where she captivated viewers for three season in the role of prosecutor Claire Kincaid) and Crossing Jordan (where she portrayed the lead character Jordan Cavanaugh). Hennessy demonstrated her skills in independent films such as Chutney Popcorn or The Acting Class. Hennessy started her career in the role of an actress Dead Ringers with her sister. Her Broadway debut came in Buddy, The Buddy Holly Story. Later, in RoboCop 3 in 1993 she was Dr. Marie Lazarus. In the fall of that year, she was a part of the cast for the NBC popular crime-drama Law & Order in the character of assistant district prosecutor Claire Kincaid. Three seasons of her character was well-loved by viewers. The show ended in 1996. Parker is well-known for her performances in movies as well as television series like RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys by the Side as well as the West Wing Angels of America. The actress was awarded an award for her performance in the series a Golden Globe Award for Best actress and also the Emmy Award. Parker has also been awarded an award called the Tony Award for Best Actress 2001 for her performance in the Broadway show Proof.
